The whole site is built using our shopping cart software enabled with credit card processing. This enables customers to purchase 24x7. Then our client just needs to fulfill the order.
Also the client can update content pages and products whenever they wish.
Concept:
This site needed to be family freindly and inviting to folks that are in need of these health-related products.
Approach:
The design of the old site wasn't that bad, so per the client's request we kept some aspects of it. Although the header graphic was completely redesigned. Then the entire static site was pulled into the various parts of the new shopping cart system.
Previously, payment was made offline via phone or mailed check. Now customers can pay online by credit card through the site if they wish.
Challenges:
The original site layout that the client wanted to retain had the main menu system on the left and changed from section to section. This could not easily be pulled into the default shopping cart setup. Therefore we customized the cart to adapt to this new menu. The end result works as the original and is easy to maintain.
